Hybrid work isn't fading out according to the new future of work survey by JLL

JLL (Jones Lang Lasalle) released its 2022 The Future of Work Survey recently, providing insight into the transformation of the real estate industry in a post-pandemic setting. The survey includes responses from over 1,000 CRE corporate leaders across the globe, and industry sentiment regarding workplace strategy over the next three years.

It is great to see the five critical areas that organizations will need to consider to shape a sustainable, resilient, and inclusive future of work are:

1. Hybrid working - Hybrid working is here to stay and calls for the rejuvenation of the office

2. Environmental and social aspirations - Environmental and social aspirations will shape future portfolio transformation

3. Partnerships - Real estate needs are becoming more sophisticated and partnerships will be key

4. Investing in quality space - In the near term, investing in quality space will be a greater priority than expanding total footprint

5. Intelligent technology investments - CRE functions need to double down on intelligent technology investments
